We build Lingual to give every attendee the clearest possible translation of your service. This guarantee stands behind that. It stacks on top of our founding offer — you already pay nothing until your first effortless stream — and it backs the quality of what we deliver after that.
The promise, in plain English. Run one complete service on Lingual. If a direct live church-translation competitor clearly produces a materially better live translation of that same service, we make it right: you choose a refund of the last 90 days or a full year of service credit. One service is enough — you don't have to move your whole ministry to find out.
To keep the comparison honest and apples-to-apples, a qualifying claim needs all of the following:
“Materially better” means a clear, overall quality win — not a single word or a matter of style. Where a reference-backed score applies — for example scripture readings measured against a published Bible translation — we use Lingual's published or an equivalent scoring method. Everywhere else we use a mutually agreed bilingual human review by people fluent in the source and target languages.
Adjudication is done by hand. We review each claim manually; we do not run an always-on automated scoreboard, and we do not claim Lingual beats every competitor on every service today. This is a good-faith promise to make it right when someone clearly does better on the same service.
If a claim qualifies, you choose one:
Either remedy is issued manually by us after we review your claim — there is no automatic charge, refund, or credit in the product. One claim per church per 12 months.
This guarantee is a limited promotional remedy, not a warranty. It does not change the accuracy disclaimer in §9 of our Terms of Service, and it does not expand the limitation of liability in §10. AI translation can still contain errors, and the remedies above — a 90-day refund or 12 months of credit, your choice — are the entire remedy under this guarantee.
