One congregation
A separate-language service or interpreter channel can serve a congregation well, but each creates another experience to schedule and operate. Lingual offers a quieter path. The pastor preaches as usual. The attendee follows in a browser without leaving the service or switching to a separate app.
The operator declares the language being spoken from the platform. Attendees choose their own reading language. Translation paths open as attendees join, within the simultaneous capacity provisioned for the church.
More than a caption window
Lingual turns the church audio feed into sentence-by-sentence captions and translates each complete sentence for the attendees currently following along. The text is designed to be read during worship without presenting every unstable partial word as finished.
When the church connects Planning Center Services, its existing service plan becomes a browser-based bulletin, so attendees follow the shape of Sunday as well as the sermon. Lingual reads the plan the team already prepared instead of asking someone to enter it again.
Sermon commentary is translated live. Bible passages are handled differently: Lingual uses a published human Bible edition where one is available, or a clearly identified human-Bible fallback. Machine translation is never presented as Scripture.

For the sound booth
The operator runs Lingual from a laptop or tablet browser and supplies a microphone or sound-board feed. A reliable internet connection and clean speech audio still matter; Lingual keeps the work inside a familiar browser workflow rather than pretending Sunday needs no preparation.
The source language is set once for the service. Target languages follow attendee demand, so the booth does not run a separate target-language checklist.
Text first
Live text is the core path. Where a translated voice is available for the selected language, Lingual can also turn each sentence into audio for a phone speaker or Bluetooth earbuds. An original source-audio relay offers another listening route. If audio generation is unavailable, translated text keeps moving instead of waiting.

Lingual works with or without Planning Center. Connect Planning Center Services and Lingual uses the live plan's service times and turns the existing service plan into the attendee bulletin automatically — or start with just your email and connect later.
The connection is limited to service-plan information. Lingual does not use Planning Center People, Giving, or Check-Ins data.
